Danny Mac Reflects on Berlin and More

(Sept 6, 2009): Jamaica’s Danny McFarlane finished 6th in the 400m hurdles in Berlin in 48.65 secs. However, he has a personal best 48.00 in the event. The 37-yr-old McFarlane, who has been to four World Championships as a hurdler, took time out of his preparation for the IAAF/VTB Bank World Athletics Final in Greece on September 12 & 13 to talk to Caribbean TrackLife (CTL).

Veteran Hurdler Still Going Strong

July 15, 2009): He’s strong, determined and focused. At 37, he’s a veteran on the Jamaican team for the 2009 World Championships in August. After ruling the roost as the island’s premier 400m hurdler, this season Danny McFarlane has been playing second fiddle to Isa Phillips, the new national champion. Nonetheless, he's is still in  the game and commands a place among the world’s leading 400m hurdlers.
Despite passing the mantle to Isa, Danny McFarlane is ready to take on the world in the one-lap event next month. Full Story »
