Several athletes of Caribbean descent continue to represent US colleges as well as The USA at the Penn Relays. We oftentimes hear their names and whom they represent but never that they have Caribbean roots. Many such athletes have gone on to compete for their countries at the Olympics, World Games, Pan-American Games, and so on, and have done well. We believe that we should always call your attention to these fierce, hardworking competitors. While we didn’t catch up with several of the current crop at Penns last month, we managed to capture a few of them in action. Check our

to see who they are. In 2011, they might just be snatching up medals at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Daegu, South Korea.
