Jamaica’s long jumper Alain Bailey and USA Porcha Lucas are the newest member of the OnTrack Management Inc (OTM), a sports management company based in Georgia. OTM is home to reigning Olympic women’s 200m champion Veronica Campbell-Brown and World Juniors men’s 100m champion Dexter Lee. OTM also manages the careers of US sprinter Darvis Patton and US hurdler Terrence Trammell. It was formed in 1995 and is headed by Jamaican-born Claude Bryan.
Bailey, an All-American long jumper from the University of Arkansas (Arkansas) completed a superb senior year last year when he established personal best in the long jump (27-4.75 ft) while capturing the 2010 Indoor NCAA long jump title. During his tenure at Arkansas, Bailey, the former Kingston College (Jamaica) graduate won six career SEC Conference titles (indoor/outdoor, long and high jump). The 23-year-old Bailey was the 2009 Jamaica national long jump champion, and is personal best (27-4.75 feet) is 2 feet off the world record (29-4.50 feet) set by USA Mike Powell in 1991.
Lucas is a sprinter and recent graduate of Texas A&M University. She has a personal best of 11.12 in the 100m and 22.29 in the 200m, which she established in 2009 and 2008, respectively. She had a season best 11.18 in 2010 and was instrumental in helping the Aggie to multiple Big Ten titles.
