Bermuda's Aaron Evans Takes 800m for Georgia in Texas

Bermuda’s 800m national record holder Aaron Evans made his season debut at the Big 12 vs. SEC Challenge in College Station, Texas over the Jan. 28 & 29 weekend, winning the race in a time of 1:50.49. According to Bernews Magazine report, Evans was one of a number of Bermudian athletes in the US who’ve competed in college meets recently.
Latroya Darrell placed 4th in the women’s triple jump also in the Big 12 vs. SEC Challenge, reaching 41ft, 4.50 inches on her third attempt.
Henry Stevens-Carty finished 5th in the Men’s 800m Run at the JRF Combined Events Invitational at Clemson University, clocking 1:55.82.
