The reigning Jamaica 400m hurdles champion Leford Green, representing Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) in the US, captured both the open 400m (46.43) and the 400m hurdles (50.17) at the 2011 Tiger Track Classic on the campus of the University of Auburn over the weekend (Apr. 2). Full Story »

University of Alabama (UA) and Grenada native Kirani James ran the fastest 400m in the world at the Meyo Invitational Meet in Indiana yesterday, stopping the clock in a brisk 45.47 secs. James, in only his second year at UA, has been in fine form recently, running 20.58 secs. in the 200m two weeks ago. Full Story »
