Penn Relay fans have never seen Asafa Powell start a relay there, and the last time they saw him anchor one was in 2009 when pulled up some 30 meters into the race after aggravating an ankle injury and hobbled to 41.24secs behind the high-powered US teams, among others, much to the disappointment of the crowd that wanted to see him put on a show.
